Two languages are a gift

The children get to know the new language (english) as a working language and colloquial language. There won’t be customary lessons,
but rather the children are put into a so-called „linguistic bath” (immersion).
Children learn a language most successfully if they experience it in daily situations – this is the same process as learning the mother tongue or a foreign language.
We create situations in which the children get shifted into a surrounding field with the foreign-language.
There is always an attachment figure, who is speaking the foreign language. Thus they learn completely casually the foreign language. This is a child-oriented and age-based method of early language acquisition. In that case we have qualified mother tongue English speaking personnel. They use the English language strictly and always. So the saying goes: One person, one language. This is how the everyday life in the kindergarten with German and English languages works. The immersion method motivates the children strongly and without force and
pressure

Should my child learn a new language so early?

The best time to make children familiar with a new language is the entry into the everyday life in a crèche and kindergarten.
At this age children start to deal with learning the native language and the recognition of words and sentences. Acquiring the native language and the new language takes place at the same time. This affects the immersion theory. The children profit from their experiences of learning the native language. Early experiences with other languages encourage learning several languages. For that reason children will later have fun with languages and it will be easier for them to learn other languages.
