We talk together
Language is the means with which we realize our environment and get into conversation. It is important for us to create different linguistic occasions in the everyday contact.
Stories promote language
To look together at picture books, provide the possibilities to describe, to ask, to express the guess – to have the opportunities to fantasize.
Especially important is our reading and storytelling: The children learn new language patterns by listening. We create opportunities to talk about stories – all this gives the chance to develop language. By visiting the library we make children familiar with books.
Language is promoted
Some children need purposeful promotion and encouragement for speaking. In this case, we support the children with trained personnel.
Also children with immigration background are promoted purposefully in small groups, to get more confident with the German language.
